A unique case of Complex Curve Scoliosis successfully treated in a young girl
Scoliosis is a condition which is termed as hunch back, where the spine is curled and creates gross deformation of the body! Apart from shortening of height, mobility and aesthetic concerns, patients can develop issues with breathing!
The patient came from a humble background. Through crowd funding, funds could be raised for her surgery! She was successfully operated by the Neurosciences team on 3rd January 2022 at Sagar Hospitals, Jayanagar & is now able to lead a happy life with a bright future ahead. Kudos to Dr. Murali Mohan S & the Neurosciences team.
Many children continue to endure this correctable condition due to lack of awareness, fear or affordability issues. We hope this case raises awareness towards a meaningful life for kids with this condition.
