Dr. S. Prasanna began his career as a Civil Assistant Surgeon in the Department of Medicine at ESI Hospital, Hyderabad. He subsequently pursued his DM in Neurology at Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad, where he gained extensive experience in managing a wide range of neurological disorders.

Following his residency, he served as a Consultant Neurophysician at St. Theresa Hospital, Hyderabad, and as a Visiting Consultant Neurophysician at Medisys Hospital, Hyderabad. He is currently associated with Sparsh Hospital, RR Nagar, Bengaluru, as a Consultant Neurophysician.
