Dr. Ravi Kumar R is a specialist in Intensive Care, at Sagar Hospital. He holds an MBBS degree from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore attained in 2003. His post-graduate qualifications include the Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Law, conferred by the National Law school of India University, Bangalore, in 2006 and a DA (Anaesthesiology) degree conferred upon him by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, in 2008.

He has earlier worked as Consultant Intensivist and Head of MICU at BGS - Global Hospital from 2012 to 2019.
