Dr. Ashwini Kumar Pasarad, is one of the leading minimally invasive cardiac surgeons in the country with Gold Medalist in MS General Surgery and has received his M.Ch super specialty degree from All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS), Delhi. He further obtained the fellowship in pediatric and adult cardiac surgery from the University of Alberta Hospitals, Stollery Children Hospital and Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute (MAHI), Edmonton, Canada. He also underwent advanced training in minimally invasive and hybrid cardiac surgery from America’s top institute. The Cleveland Clinic, OHIO, USA. He has performed more than 6000 surgeries in his 15 years of experience in this field. His expertise surgical fields are – minimally invasive (key hole) cardiac surgery, beating heart coronary artery bypass surgeries, aortic root surgeries, complex pediatric cardiac surgeries, heart transplantation, surgeries for heart failure and ventricular assist devices. He is an active blogger and has written many articles in prominent magazines, newspapers and International Journals.
